Google Play Music update includes SD support

Google Play Music allows you to play any music file on your Android device without having to look around in your Android directories for it. Unfortunately, the Play Music app did not have the ability to Play Music on a Micro-SD Card, and for people with little internal storage on their device, this was a big problem. Luckily, the new Google Play Music update fixes this problem. The update description states that the Micro-SD Cards are compatible with devices running Android 4.4 KitKat, and still experimental with devices not compatible with KitKat or devices that have yet to update to KitKat.

Putting the obvious aside, you will need a device capable of a Micro SD Card for this to work, and not all devices have the SD card slot. Also, if you aren’t using KitKat, it might not work, or it may work but with some bugs.

Of course the lack of being able to use an SD Card may not seem like a huge problem – you always have internal storage right? Unfortunately, the standard Android device comes with a 16 GB maximum, and most of the storage is taken up by formatting and the OS, on top of that is app and other media, which is why Micro-SD has become a growing option, and this update really helps with that.

The update has officially become public, so wait for it to ask for permission, or just keep hitting that refresh button on the Play Store until it shows up. If you don’t already have Google Play Music, be sure to hit the download link below.

Google Gulirkan Update Android 6 0 1 Marshmallow Untuk Perangkat Android One

Seperti yang kita ketahui, Android Marshmallow merupakan sistem operasi Android terbaru saat ini, setelah resmi digulirkan beberapa bulan yang lalu, kini Google merilis update Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow dengan membawa perbaikan pada sektor keamanan yang akan tersedia untuk perangkat Android One.

Seperti yang dilansir dari IBTimes, Minggu (22/11/2015), update yang digulirkan Google untuk perangkat Android One itu tidak hanya membawa perbaikan pada sektor kemanan saja, namun update tersebut juga membawa peningkatan pada performa dan perbaikan pada bugs yang ada. Update ini akan tersedia pada perangkat Android One di seluruh dunia, mulai dari perangkat Android One Cherry Mobile G1 di Filipina.

Setelah bergulir ke perangkat Android One, update tersebut akan hadir pada perangkat Google lainnya, yakni Nexus. Sama seperti yang update untuk Android One, update untuk perangkat Nexus juga kan membawa perbaikan pada bugs yang ada. Sedangkan untuk vendor dan perangkat pihak ketiga dari operator akan mendapatkan update tersebut beberapa bulan kedepan.

Sepertinya, Google juga akan merilis update lain untuk beberapa bulan kedepan untuk perangkat Android One. Sedangkan pihak OEM akan membuat strategi agar perangkat milik mereka dapat langsung mendapatkan versi terbaru. Seperti yang kita ketahui, banyak dari OEM yang langsung melewati Android 5.0 Lollipop dan langsung menggunakan Android 5.1 Lolli

Sebagai tambahan, Android One merupakan proyek Google bersama dengan vendor lokal negara berkembang untuk menghadirkan smartphone dengan harga terjangkau namun memiliki performa yang sangat memuaskan. Sedangkan perangkat Nexus juga sama, namun Google menggandeng vendor besar dunia untuk menghadirkan perangkat tersebut, dan Nexus ditujukan untuk segmen high-end. Namun Google tetap menjembatani kesenjangan kedua segmen dengan memberikan pelayanan yang sama untuk semua konsumen.

Cara Flash

Step 1 - Download Jelly Blast ROM for Galaxy Y to your phone.

Step 2 - Place the rom zip file in your sd card. Do not place it in any folders!

Step 3 - Then, turn off your phone.

Step 4 - After your phone is switched off, hold the Volume Up, Home and Power button altogether .

Step 5 - Use the volume keys to move up and down.

Step 6 - Select apply update from sd card, then press CWM.zip - Click here to download CWM.zip

Step 7 - In CWM recovery, wipe data and cache.

Step 8 - Select install zip from sd card

Step 9 - Choose JellyBlastGenED.signed.zip

Step 10 - Choose "Yes" (It will be installed)

Step 11- After the rom has been installed, reboot your phone!

Step 12- After your phone has rebooted, you have sucessfully updated your galaxy y to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
